These terms govern the provision of plumbing and heating services by Marlow & Finch Plumbing ("we", "us", "our") to you ("the customer"). By engaging our services you accept these terms.
Fixed-price quotes are valid for 30 days from the date issued. Where work is charged on a time-and-materials basis (e.g. emergency call-outs), we will confirm the rate before proceeding.
All gas work is carried out by Gas Safe registered engineers (Registration No. 558812). Gas installation certificates are provided upon completion where required by regulations.
Invoices are due within 14 days of issue unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept bank transfer, cheque, and major credit/debit cards.
Workmanship is guaranteed for 12 months from completion. Manufacturer guarantees apply to installed equipment. Guarantees do not cover misuse, neglect, or third-party damage.
To cancel or reschedule an appointment, please give at least 24 hours' notice. Same-day cancellations may incur a call-out charge.
Our liability is limited to the cost of the work carried out, except where caused by our negligence. We hold public liability insurance of £5,000,000.
